What We Do

We deliver Live Interactive Virtual Tours.

Live - We stream live via Zoom, sometimes using state of the art satellite technology.

Interactive - We encourage our audience to interact with the guide; maybe asking questions, asking to look at a particular thing they noticed, or maybe linger over a particular view. It is their tour.

Virtual - We deliver the tours to you remotely.

Viewing virtual tours like this will, we fully acknowledge, never be a true substitute for actually being there, but we offer you the opportunity to give dozens of residents at a time the chance to visit places they may never again see in real life, for a very reasonable cost, with minimal staffing, using equipment you probably already have.

Compared to the cost in staff hours, transport cost and planning effort required to get just a handful of residents out to somewhere interesting, we represent excellent value.

These tours are specifically designed with the needs of people in care in mind. The subjects, pacing and delivery is tailored to their needs. If you purchase a tour exclusively then we will take your specific needs into account.

What You Can See

Whether is is Steam Trains, Exotic Wild Animals, Military Aircraft, Ocean Voyages or Sporting Events, we have something to put a smile on your face and quicken your pulse.

Our home counties of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset have a wealth atmospheric and dramatic scenery and a host of beautiful wildlife for us to look at.

With sites ranging from ancient history with Stonehenge, through the Romans, the Tudors, Georgians and Victorians, not to mention many sites from both World Wars, our area has a rich history to explore.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Hi! I'm Steve. I have over 20 year experience in the leisure and tourism industry. Until recently I was a VIP Guide at Longleat Safari Park. It was here I became frustrated with the difficulties in including those with limited mobility or ability in tours that the able bodied were able to enjoy without issue.

After leaving longleat I started working in the care industry, which really opened my eyes to the difficulties, hurdles and obstacles involved getting care residents out to see the amazing sites the South West has to offer.

So I stated looking for ways to solve the problem. First I tried to find a way get people to places in person, but of course I hit all the problems everyone else, so I looked for a different angle, and settled on bringing the places to people, wherever they may be.

Our tours had to be live, and the audience had to be able to interact with us in real time, or else you might as well be watching T.V. That introduced the problem with internet access in some pretty out of the way places: a satellite system solved this problem, enabling us to broadcast from almost anywhere.

What do you need to to join us? Any screen that is or can be connected to an internet enabled device loaded with Zoom, and a microphone to talk to us. That's it. Need help setting this up? We can help you with that too.
